The Wild West Harley-Davidson Service Team is proud of their 70+ years experience servicing Harley-Davidson motorcycles. That 70+ years is NOT just talking about them, desktop bike building or reading about the latest custom bike trends, but ACTUAL hands-on experience. Our technicians undergo continuous factory training, both in-dealership and at Harley-Davidson factory training facilities.

Wild West Harley-Davidson's 9000 square foot service facility features the latest in diagnostic and testing equipment; including factory specific special tools and a fully outfitted Dynojet Dynamometer, there is NO shop in West Texas better equipped. If your bike means as much to you as our bikes mean to us, why let anyone less than the very best take care of your ride?

While we believe we offer the best service in this West Texas, we are human, and humble enough to know we are not perfect. That is why we stand behind everything we do. If for any reason after visiting our Service Department we do not meet your expectations 100%, please contact the Service Manager, Chris Hamsmith, and give us the opportunity to meet those expectations. We realize you have a choice and wish to make it a simple one...

Some motorcycle shops will claim to have Harley-Davidson factory trained technicians, when in reality they have shade tree mechanics that may have been to only one factory service class or perhaps to a, Harley-Davidson sponsored, entry level training school. That is only the beginning, factory training is not a one time certification or event, but is an on going lifelong process. Wild West Harley-Davidson technicians receive specialized training at Harley-Davidson University by Motor Company instructors in many specific areas of maintenance, diagnosis, and repair.

There are five different levels of technicians, based on training and level of experience.

  1. Service Staff
  2. Technician
  3. Expert Technician
  4. Master of Chassis, Powertrain and/or Electrical
  5. Master of Technology

In addition to instructor lead courses there are also in-dealership training courses that cover the ever increasing changes and improvements to Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Combined with that is access to Technical Service Support Representatives, on-line access to up-to-date Service Bulletins, Technical Tips, and Service letters. This commitment to on-going training is so that Wild West Harley-Davidson can provide our customers with a knowledgeable and professional Service Department.
